Letterpress maps

This is a more abstract notion of a desire line using letterpress. It started as my desire to go against the 18pt grid and create a curve. However this soon became apparent that it was bloody difficult so I decided to raise the letterpress blocks themselves up to print level. This print shows the grid structure to creating a curve on an 18pt grid.

Below is the reverse of the blocks, the texture of which lends the print an abstract element perhaps an 'aerial map' of fields, or a golf course.
